We had a client in New Braunfels, TX, reach out to our team to take their outdoor living space to the next level. Not only did they want to create a functional space in their backyard for gatherings and outdoor enjoyment, but they also wanted to renovate their front landscaping for an elevated aesthetic! To do this, we installed a new landscape bed with edging, rocks, mulch, plants, and a small tree on their lawn. Additionally, we freshened up the landscape beds along the front of their house with new mulch, shrubs, and flowers. For their backyard, a concrete patio, pavilion, and outdoor fireplace were installed using high-quality materials. Then, we put the finishing touches on their back outdoor space with a stone retaining wall at the edge of their property and new landscaping throughout.
Landscape Beds With Eye-Catching Plants & Flowers Were Installed in Our Client's Front Yard
Our client wanted to bring an elevated, visually appealing look to their front yard, which is exactly what we did! We added a new landscape bed on the lawn, defining its shape with stone edging. Rocks were installed along the border of the bed, and mulch was placed in the center, where we put small, charming plants and a tree. After that, we renovated the landscape beds along the front of their house, cutting a new edge and installing fresh, dark-colored mulch. As a finishing touch to these beds, we incorporated various shrubs and flowers with colorful blooms to cultivate an eye-catching display of natural beauty.
We Built a Concrete Patio, Pavilion & Outdoor Fireplace
The next step of this outdoor living project was to build an area in their backyard where our client can host gatherings and spend time outside. So, we installed a poured concrete patio as the foundation, with pieces of stone leading up to it! A dark wood pavilion was constructed over it, perched on stone pillars, to provide shelter from the elements, adding a visually striking contrast to the space. Then, we built a large wood-burning outdoor fireplace from the same material as the stone pillars to ensure a cohesive look. This fireplace brings a luxurious feel to their outdoor living space, allowing them to spend time by the fire and stay warm even during chillier evenings.
We Finished This Outdoor Living Project With a Retaining Wall & Landscaping in Their Backyard
With the main elements of this outdoor living project complete, we moved on to the finishing touches for their backyard! These included a stone retaining wall along the edge of their property line and landscaping throughout. We installed a mix of rocks and mulch in the various landscape beds in their backyard, as well as different plants and boulders to add more dimension. Now, our client can enjoy a transformed landscape design in both the front and back of their house, plus a designated outdoor living area!
